Karl Green is an African-American and first-generation Bahamian-American artist, who can trace his lineage in America back five generations to the native lands of the Cherokee in what is now known as the state of Georgia.  Born in Northern Virginia, raised along the east coast, and world-travelled, he garners inspiration from the many places he’s visited and the people he’s met.

Son of an architect, he developed a passion for the arts at a young age. From teaching himself to play piano to sculpting with clay, he feels most at home creating, wherever his art may take him. A leader in the arts field, Karl continually feeds his passion for teaching, writing, directing, and learning, as he pursues his Master in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama.
